On Sunday, the 14th October we went from Köln/Bonn Airport to Dublin Airport. The flight took one and half an hour. After we had arrived the tour guides bought all of us bus tickets and took us to or host families. We all stayed for 7 days in different families. Our room was really big and had two big beds. We had all we needed: breakfast, lunch, dinner, Wi-Fi, a clean bathroom and a well designed bedroom. From 6pm till 8pm we made a city tour.

The world famous Temple Bar district, the Wax Museum with Halloween creatures and the medieval Dublinia Museum were really worth to visit. We learned a lot from the very early Viking settlements to the Romans. The Trinity College, the Chester Beatty Library and the Museum of Ireland were cultural highlights. Of course we shouldn‘t forget the beautiful harp recital which was only performed for us and the beautiful Cliffs of Moher which is among the most amazing places in Europe.

It was also really cool to have our language course with Deran at a different place (from Howth to the National Gallery).

Furthermore, we saw the European headquarters of Microsoft and we got a tour there. It was the best office I have seen in my life. I just think about going to work in Ireland at Microsoft

Especially the dinner at a Mexican, Indian and Turkish restaurant were really amazing and spicy, as well

Watching the cinema movie „Johnny English“ was one of the funniest moments of our tour. Everything was so awesome but unfortunately our language trip ended so fast.

Our opinion is that all guys who couldn’t go to Ireland missed a fantastic trip with amazing sightseeing tours, a well organized language course and lots of history and culture. We would really recommend to everyone to do such a language trip at least once together with a teacher of our school.
